Desota Cook - Quick Release Ball Lock Pins have a wide range of uses for both fastening and locating operations. They operate on a locking ball principle assuring secure and safe fastening. These positive locking pins will not release until the button on the handle is depressed. Once the button is depressed, the balls retract into the pin allowing the pin to be removed from the hole. Because they are positive locking, they can replace traditional fasteners such as cotter pins, nuts and bolts, hitch pins, etc… in many applications. They also allow the user to remove the pin without the use of tools, saving you time and lost parts. Desota Cook - Quick Release Ball Lock Pins are available in 4130 steel, 304 stainless and 17-4 stainless to meet applications needs:

Cotter Pin Replacement Nut and Bolt Replacement Medical Equipment Machinery Manufacturing

Commercial Grade 304 Stainless - The Commercial Grade pins are made from 304 stainless steel and are designed for applications where shear strengths are not demanding. While these pins offer lower shear strengths than other positive locking pins, they are strong enough to meet the needs for many applications. These pins allow you to take advantage of the positive locking and rapid release features at a more affordable price.

High Strength 17-4 Stainless - The High Strength pins are made from 17-4 stainless steel and are designed for applications where higher shear strengths are required. This strength makes it the clear choice for a wide range of demanding applications.

Steel - These hardened and plated pins offer high strength and economical cost. They are suited to applications where strength is needed and corrosion is not a factor.
